Safety First. Quality Always.
At PolyFusion, safety and quality are not programs — they are the foundation of how we work. Every project, every crew, every joint.
No Compromise. No Exceptions.
PolyFusion's safety culture starts at the top and runs through every level of the organization. We believe that every worker has the right to go home safely at the end of every shift — and that belief drives every decision we make on every project.
Our quality commitment is equally uncompromising. Every fusion joint is datalogged. Every system is pressure tested. Every project is delivered with a complete QA/QC documentation package. We stand behind our work.
Built-In Safety. Not Bolted On.
Site-Specific Safety Plans
Every project begins with a site-specific safety plan developed for the actual hazards, access conditions, and work scope of that project — not a generic template.
Hazard Identification & Assessment
Field-level hazard assessments are completed before every task. Workers are empowered to stop work when conditions are unsafe — no questions asked.
PPE Standards
Appropriate PPE is required on every site. Our crews are equipped with the right protection for the work environment — from standard construction PPE to specialized underground and chemical-exposure protection.
Emergency Response Planning
Site-specific emergency response plans are developed for every project, including medical emergency, fire, spill, and evacuation procedures appropriate to the project location.
Safety Meetings & Communication
Daily toolbox talks, pre-task safety meetings, and regular safety reviews keep safety front of mind throughout every project.
Incident Reporting & Investigation
All incidents and near-misses are reported and investigated. Lessons learned are shared across the organization to prevent recurrence.
Every Joint. Every Test. Documented.
ASTM F2620 Compliance
All butt fusion operations are performed in strict accordance with ASTM F2620 Standard Practice for Heat Fusion Joining of Polyethylene Pipe and Fittings.
McElroy DataLogger QA/QC
Electronic datalogging of every butt fusion joint — time, temperature, pressure, operator ID, pipe data, and GPS location. Complete DataLogger reports provided at project completion.
Certified Fusion Operators
All fusion operators hold current McElroy certification with documented training records. Operator certification is verified before deployment on any project.
Equipment Calibration & Maintenance
All McElroy fusion equipment is maintained to manufacturer specifications and calibrated on a documented schedule. Equipment records are available on request.
Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
Completed pipeline systems are pressure tested to project specifications with calibrated equipment. Test reports include pressure charts, test parameters, and pass/fail documentation.
QA/QC Documentation Packages
Every project is delivered with a complete QA/QC documentation package including DataLogger reports, hydrostatic test reports, material certifications, and as-built records.
